SOU Men’s Lacrosse Season Ended in Playoffs

The Southern Oregon University Men’s Lacrosse team ended their 2012 season with a 19-to-6 loss to No. 23 Western Washington University in the first round of the PNCLL Playoffs.

The Raiders struggled often and early and could not manage to recover after a 9-to-1 deficit at half time. Sophomore Attack Tom Halley and Freshman Attack AJ Chase lead the Raiders with two goals apiece, and Freshman Goalie Killian Spicer-Torreblanca had 16 saves.

The Raiders will be losing seniors Wyatt Knight, Sean McQuown, Joey Moseanko, and Patrick Verdun, but will be returning 14 players next season.

For the second year in a row the Raiders season ended in the first round of the PNCLL playoffs. They finished the season 8-5 overall, 2-2 in league, and third in the PNCLL South Division.
