Brace yourselves, SOU. Beak Week is coming.
For those of you not in the know, Beak Week is a week full of events put on by our very own EPIC club that celebrate SOU’s pride and school spirit. Flyers have been posted across campus giving a preview of the events to come, taking place between October 14th through the 19th (Monday through Saturday).
On Monday, expect taloned predators to come to campus. From noon until 2pm in the Raider’s Nest, you’ll be able to meet and learn about several great birds of prey, courtesy of our friends over at Wildlife Images.
On Thursday, look forward to a visit from renown philosopher and activist Cornel West at 7pm in the Music Hall. Prepare for some meaningful learning outside the traditional classroom experience.
On Saturday, cheer loud and proud for the Raiders at 1pm as they face off against Montana State in an eventful football game. Then stick around for a casino night hosted in the Stevenson Union later that evening.
The above happenings are not even half of what Beak Week comprises. Keep your ears open for more events, along the likes of movies, meditation, games, and of course, LOTS of free food
