The Southern Oregon Men’s Lacrosse team will start its 2012-2013 season on February 8 against Humboldt State, but first they got started this last weekend with their Fall Ball season in Portland, where they went 3-1.
The Raiders played three games Saturday, beating Lewis and Clark by the score of 8-3, followed by Portland State, where a last second goal by SOU tied the game 6-6. The Raiders ended the day with an 8-2 victory over Central Washington.
They followed Saturday up with a double header on Sunday against Humboldt State, with an 8-4 victory. SOU ended the weekend of scrimmages with the host school, University of Portland, where the Raiders had their only defeat, losing 4-0.
The Raiders will travel to Davis, CA on Oct. 27, where they will conclude their 2012 Fall Ball season and play three games in the UC Davis tournament. The following weekend SOU will host its 3rd annual Alumni game before they prepare for the 2012-2013 season.
