A representative from the Q Center in Portland will be presenting an “ACA Education and Enrollment Fair” on Thursday, March 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the foyer of Stevenson Union. Teri Eastburn, Community Resource Coordinator for the Q Center will be providing information about the Q Center, the Affordable Care Act and Cover Oregon.
Other community partners and resources will be at the event, helping students to learn about health insurance through Cover Oregon. There will also be Certified Enrollment Assisters and Insurance Agents there to help those who are looking to apply.
The Q Center is an organization working to increase visibility, support and celebration of LGBTQ individuals throughout Oregon and southwestern Washington. The center is currently working to connect with outreaching areas in order to provide the most up-to-date information regarding LGBTQ news to those who may be seeking it.
