Artists wanted for the 18th annual “Women with attitude and men who like women with attitude” juried exhibition during Women’s History Month at the JEGA Gallery and Sculpture Garden, Inc. in Ashland, Oregon’s Historic Railroad District, on the corner of 5th and A Streets.
There will be two openings. The art exhibit will begin on the Ashland Gallery Association (AGA) first Friday art walk, March 3rd 2012 for Women’s History Month. The second opening will be the First Friday, April 6, 2012 through a Taste Of Ashland.
Deadline for submissions of paintings, drawings, sculptures, music, poetry, and/or 10-minute skits will be Friday, February 24th, 2012 for the March show. And artist entry forms for the April show need to arrive at the JEGA before 5 p.m. Friday, March 16th. The entry fee is waived for high school and college students who include a copy of current student identification.
What are “Women with Attitude?” They are Women with the courage to learn and keep learning. To reach out and explore all facets of truths; Meaning of life; Ways of being; Other Cultures, Religions, Spiritualism, the Arts & Sciences, History, Economics, Philosophy & Athletics. And always with a sense of humor!
