Get Ready for Halloween Festivities Around Ashland

Attention goblins and ghouls, it’s time to get spooky! Halloween is tomorrow and there will be holiday activities around Ashland. 

Ashland’s Annual Children’s Halloween Celebration begins at 3:45 p.m. at the Ashland Public Library. 

While the Parade doesn’t begin till 3:45, there are activities for the whole family before and after. 

From 2:30-3:30 p.m. stop by Paddington Express to make Halloween Trick-or-Treat bags with staff. From 3-3:30 p.m, local musicians Tish McFadden and Brian Freeman will perform at the Ashland Public Library.

Leading up to the beginning of the parade, the Ashland Middle School Jazz Band will play outside of Hither restaurant. Parade band Samba Like It Hot will lead the celebration, with the Ashand High School Drumline and Ashland Danceworks ending the procession.

After the Parade ends, the festivities will continue. There will be trick-or-treating at downtown merchants, a Thriller performance, face painting, a photo booth with treats, spooky Halloween games, and an Ashlandia Witch Dance Party.
