The referendum put forward to support the Schneider Child Care Center with student fees has been approved with a 78% yes vote as of this afternoon.
The fees of 13 dollars per student per term will go into effect in the 2016/17 school year leaving next year as of yet unfunded. However, in discussions with Schneider Center directors it appears temporary funding may be found to operate next year. That’s the hope and plan as of now although specific revenue streams have not yet been identified..
