The career connections page even has a page for various tips and tricks you can use for this event to make a strong impression on the representatives of these respective companies.

Furthermore, get their business card so you can do a follow-up phone call.
SOU will have a resume builder event on April 12th in-person, inside the Stevenson Union. On April 13th, the event will happen through Zoom. To help you prepare with a resume that can make you more appealing to any potential employer looking into hiring you.
On the 13th, there will also be an abroad career event for those looking to work overseas; this event is a workshop that will show you the ropes to get a job overseas and be at the Stevenson Union room 323 at 3:30 PM on the 13th.
The Siskiyou reached out for a statement from SOU’s Career Preparation Coordinator Max Brooks on this event and why students should show up, and he had the following to say:
“The Career and Internship Fair is a valuable opportunity for students to talk to employers about full-time positions, part-time jobs, and internships. There will be more than 60 employers present, and they are all eager to meet with candidates from SOU. There are a lot of neat positions open right now, and the fair gives students a chance to learn about hundreds of them all in one place. I think it’s also important to point out that the fair can be as valuable for a first-year student as a senior. No matter where someone is in their SOU career, events like the Career and Internship Fair provide networking opportunities, learning about new opportunities, practicing important interview skills, and earning a job or internship. Employers are hoping for a huge student turnout, and I hope that we can deliver for them.”
