Famed lyricist, author, and photographer Eric Alan made an appearance in the Meese Room of Southern Oregon University’s library Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m., presenting an array of his thematic songs as well as signing copies of his publications.

Eric Alan was signing copies of four different books he has authored: “Grace and Tranquility,” “Wild Grace,” “The World is in My Garden,” and “Uprising for the Earth.”

The four books were on sale and available for signing following a brief presentation of some of Mr. Alan’s folksy tunes. The songs included themes ranging from walking instead of driving to free-range chickens.

Themes like these are the ideals that drive the introspective, spiritual, and naturalistic themes of his books.
