The Stevenson Union (SU) has reopened and students are stoked! Located on Raider Way across from Taylor Hall, the SU is the social and extracurricular center of the campus community, as well as a focal point for campus activities.
M – F: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm
The 3 floors of the Stevenson Union are all home to different student services, resources, and event rooms that promote engagement and increase a sense of pride for students, staff, faculty, and alumni. Come stop by and build community, engage with students and faculty, and make yourself at home on campus! Here’s what can be found in the SU:
Main Floor (2)
A comfortable, raised student lounge with computers is available for use during normal business hours by anyone that is cleared for on-campus activity.
The bookstore is open Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm and offers everything from textbooks and school supplies to SOU apparel and manga novels.
Meals at Elmo’s are available Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm with a 30 minute closure between breakfast and lunch from 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Elmo’s also features a wide assortment of grab and go sandwiches, salad’s, snacks, and beverages available exclusively Monday – Thursday: 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, as well as during all normal hours of operation.
Einsteins claims to be open Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, however they have been closing around 3:00 pm lately. The menu offers a variety of bagels, sandwiches, hot and iced beverages, and blended cold brew shakes. These sweet treats provide the perfect pick-me-up between classes.
The ASSOU student leadership lounge is also available for use during normal business hours.
Lower Floor (1)
Print & Copy services (rooms 119 and 120), entrance at the exterior of the building.
Academic support programs such as Disability Resources and Trio-SSS (room 134).

Top Floor (3)
A game room lounge fully decked out with billiards, ping-pong, foosball, board games, 3 large-screen TVs, a Nintendo Switch and Wii is all available during normal business hours.
An art gallery that students, alumni, staff, and faculty can submit their original work to. Entries will be accepted until May 22nd at the Office of Student Life (room 312).
A variety of event and conference rooms are available to rent by contacting the Stevenson Union manager at (541)552-6462, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
