The Southern Oregon women’s soccer team made it three wins in a row after they managed to overcome both Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho on the road this weekend.
The Raiders now occupy second in the conference standings with a 4-1 record and a 10-3-1 overall.
Against Eastern Oregon, forward Stephanie Carr recorded two goals to the lead the Raiders to an eventually 3-0 win. Denise Powell finished the scoring for the Raiders.
The game against College of Idaho saw Southern Oregon rely on the 24th minute strike of Ashton Griffen for the win.
Defensively, the Raiders were led by goalkeeper Jessica Kuehlwein who finished the match with six saves.
Both wins leave the Raiders one shy of tying the programs’s record for wins in a season which stands at 11.
