Cold weather is expected throughout the region today, and the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory. Â Snow levels may drop as low as 4000 feet, and several inches of snow are expected in the mountains.
The National Weather Service has predicted a cold, wet winter this year, triggered by a La Nina weather system which brought an early storm to the region in late October.
Mt. Ashland has already received a seasonal snowfall of 24 inches, and another six-ten inches are expected with this storm. View the Mt. Ashland webcam here.
