Kate Brown, Oregon Secretary of State, will be hosting an informal discussion on civic engagement and student participation in elections tomorrow, Jan. 12, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., in Elmo’s cafeteria of the Stevenson Union at Southern Oregon University.
Brown and her office are responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including auditing the use of public funds, promoting and regulating commerce, maintaining the state archives, and overseeing the state electoral process and the interpretation of election law.
