If you can’t decide on what you want to do this weekend, the answer is simple. Come see the SOU High School Honor Choir perform this Sunday in the Music recital Hall at 3:00 pm at the SOU campus. The Honor Choir will consist of the best vocalists from Jackson, Klamath, and Josephine counties.

These young stars have spent countless hours of vocal training and preparation and now is the chance to see the spectacular results from all their hard work. These young students will also be able to gain pointers from classes this weekend taught by SOU Voice Faculty members, Ellie Murray and Faculty Laurie which will then end with the concert performance. In addition to performance by these young stars, there will be performances by the SOU Chamber Choir, SOU Men’s Glee, and the Women’s Choir.

Expect to see a spectacular closing number from the SOU High School Honor Choir, SOU Chamber Choir and Southern Oregon Repertory Singers. Together they will perform “Hard Day’s Night” by the Beatles organized by SOU Music Faculty member, Jodi French.

If you want to see this spectacular concert under the direction of Dr. Paul French, Dr. Fredna Grimland and Chris Bingham, then come to SOU this Sunday afternoon. This event will be a great opportunity for the community to come and show their appreciation for music and the arts. The concert will be about an hour long and admission is free. All are welcome to attend the concert that will surely be entertaining and memorable.
