On Friday December 6th, bluegrass band Hamfist is coming to the OSF Craft Fair. Hamfist offers a raw, down home style of bluegrass that feels organic. With 7 members and a variety of instruments, the band sounds full and energetic. Fans of real bluegrass are sure to enjoy the show.
The performance will be in the Great Hall on 70 Main Street. The show is free, for all ages and starts at 6:30 p.m. Festive wear will be worn by the performers and are encouraged in the audience.
At 10 P.M. the band moves next door to Taroko, a Pan-Pacific Bistro that offers a wide variety of East Asian foods as well as an extensive sushi menu. Taroko offers drinks and happy hour will start at 9 P.M. till they close at 2 A.M. This is obviously not as child friendly as the earlier performance but will offer a nice warm and cozy atmosphere for those looking for a more personal performance from the band.
